The Detroit Sport Commission has launched a 30-day tour of local participating high schools to promote awareness and presale tickets for the 2017 Prep Kickoff Classic.

Each visit will include a school #XenithPKC social media "take-over" and on-site fan fest with a variety of interactive, football-themed activities from the DSC and its Prep Kickoff Classic partners Xenith and Metro PCS for students to participate in during their lunch periods. Tickets will be made available for sale at each participating school following each school visit and a portion of the proceeds of advance ticket sales will benefit each school.

The Prep Kickoff Classic is the premier, season-opening high school football showcase in Michigan and will celebrate its 13-year anniversary with seven exciting games Aug. 24-26 at Tom Adams Field on the campus of Wayne State University.
