Josh Griffin is the Marketing & Communications Manager for the Detroit Sports Commission (DSC) and a proud Metro Detroit native.
Griffin is a seasoned marketing and communications leader that has worked across sports, entertainment, hospitality, fintech, and automotive industries. In his role with the DSC, Griffin gets to blend his passion for storytelling with the dynamic sports and hospitality experiences that the Metro Detroit region and Michigan have to offer. Through the development of unique marketing and communications strategies, Griffin explores ways to share the Detroit Sports Commission and Visit Detroit message with all audiences.
One of his favorite sporting events is when the 1994 World Cup games were played at the Pontiac Silverdome. He was fortunate enough to attend one of the matches as a fan and has loved all things sports ever since.
Griffin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Oakland University.
