Greg Brannan, a lifelong Metro Detroit native, was named the National Sales Manager of the Detroit Sports Commission (DSC) in September 2022.
Brannan played football for the Adrian College Bulldogs, where he earned Conference All Academic Honors and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Greg previously served in multiple sales roles on Visit Detroit from 2015 to 2022. Right after graduating from Adrian College, his initial start with the DSC was in 2013 with an internship during the AAU Junior Olympic Games – the largest multi-sport youth event in the country.
In his current role, Greg manages key aspects of the organization’s sales operations, with a primary focus on youth and amateur events. Since joining the team, Greg has helped land a variety of impactful events to the region; 2023 USA Boxing National Qualifier, 2023 ACL Pro Cornhole Series, 2023 U.S. Figure Skating National Theatre on Ice, 2024 USA BMX Stars & Stripes Nationals, 2026 U.S. Figure Skating Midwestern Synchronized Skating Sectionals, 2027 NCAA Men’s Final Four, and more.
Greg, his wife, Kayla, son, Walker (2), and daughter, Winnie (incoming February 2026!), reside in Trenton, Michigan.
