Construction began on October 1, 2004. Opening in August of 2005, the 70,000 sq ft. arena features two NHL sized rinks (200 x 85), Centre Ice Cafe, Perani's Hockey World, Ten Locker Rooms, Meeting/Off-Ice Room and Figure/Hockey Instructor Rooms. Home to the Macomb Hockey Club, Onyx Suburban Skating Academy, Eisenhower Eagles, Romeo Bulldogs, Utica Chieftains, PKHL, Macomb Adult Hockey League (MAHL) and the Macomb United Figure Skating Team.
