The matchup will feature two of the best teams in the world and should be an exciting event for all sports fans.Yesterday we took a closer look at A.C. Milan so today we will focus on Panathinaikos F.C.

Upcoming on Friday, August 6, 2010 A.C. Milan will play Panathinaikos F.C. for the first time ever on U.S. soil. The game will be held in Pontiac, Michigan at the Silver Dome. The Silver Dome is no stranger to hosting soccer competitions as the 2004 World Cup qualifying round was hosted there. Both teams are two of the most renowned franchises of all time and this match-up is sure to be a classic.
A.C. Milan has earned the reputation of one of the best professional soccer teams of all time. The team will be coming to Detroit from Milan, Italy. In Italy they play as part of the Serie A Italian professional league. In Europe, their dominance has lead them to a combined 18 Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) titles, which ties them for the most titles ever by any club.
