AAU Athletics has awarded Metro Detroit with the 2010 Area 9 AAU Junior Olympics National Qualifier - Track & Field. We are extremely excited to co-host the National Qualifier with The Greater Detroit Sports Club. AAU Track & Field Athletes will return to Detroit after our extremely successful 2008 AAU Junior Olympics.
The Nationtal Qualifier will consist of boys and girls 18 years old and younger competing in nine different age groups. The qualifier will consist of track events, fields events, and multi-events. The top four finishers in each event of the track, field, and mulit-events will advance to the 2010 AAU Junior Olympics.

Registration:
Registration will open on June 1, 2010 and will close on July 2, 2010. All registration will be completed online at www.coacho.com.
A $20.00 entry fee per track & field athlete & a $20.00 entry fee per multi-event athlete must be paid. All members of relay teams, including atlernates, who have not enter an individual event, must pay a $20.00 entry fee. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Entry fees are per athlete, no substitutions allowed after submission. All major credit cards accpect online.

Wednesday, July 7th - Packet Pick Up @ TBD
Thursday, Day One, July 8th - Multi-Events (Decathlon & Heptathlon)
Friday, Day Two, July 9th - Multi-Events (Heptathlon, Decathlon, Pentathlon & Traithlon) and Track Events
Saturday, Day Three, July 10th - Track & Field Events
Sunday, Day Four, July 11th - Track & Field Events
